[hercules-390] Installing zLinux under Hercules - step by step guide

Hi,
I've had a few failed attempts at getting zLinux installed under Hercules.


Is there a step by step guide in existence anywhere? I've not been able to find anything that's a good step by step walkthrough.


In particular, I'm running SDL Hercules 4.0 under Windows 10, so I'd like something aimed at Windows users, though I suppose I could convert something aimed at Hercules on Linux.

I haven't installed it, but you have you looked at any of the IBM "redbooks" ?

googling "zlinux install redbook" brings up a bunch of hits.

I didn't find quite what I was looking for in those Redbooks....but have had a bit of a breakthrough through after finding a guide for Gentoo Linux on Hercules. It was aimed at Hercules running on Linux, and missed a couple of things out, e.g. I think the Linux knowledge for doing a wget was assumed, etc.
I was able to the guide use for Windows though, and I got quite a way through installing - perhaps I'll write a step by step dummies guide myself.
