Running TK4_v1.00 using the mvs.bat script under Windows 10. I'm only trying to create a valid TSO world where I could create some simple COBOL programs. I have NO systems programming experience.
It goes through the IPL ok and I can attach to the HTTP server and issue commands there and see devices, etc. To the best of my understanding, MVS 3.8 is running.
In the PDF user's manual, it says:
If, for the current IPL, this is the first connection to the terminal address
selected by Hercules, a panel showing the TK4- logo and information about
Hercules and the host operating system will be displayed. In this case press
the 3270 RESET key followed by the CLEAR key to display the logon panel
(RESET is needed if the keyboard is locked only).
My wc3270 screen looks like:

So trying the RESET and then CLEAR combination only gives me an X WAIT that never goes away and doing a RESET and ATTN gives me nothing.
Also, the device number of 001F that's listed only corresponds in the HTTP interface to a subchannel of 001F, which is a 3705 device and not a 3270. If I try to give it a 3270 device, I don't get the above screen, but a message that that device is not available and the wc3270 screen goes away.
My wc3270 config looks like:
Session: TSO-TK4
Path: C:\Users\David\Documents\wc3270\TSO-TK4.wc3270
Options
1. Host ................... : 192.168.50.1
2. Logical Unit Name ...... : (none)
3. TCP Port ............... : 3270
4. Model Number ........... : 4 (43 rows x 80 columns)
5. Oversize .............. : (none)
6. Character Set .......... : bracket (CP 37*)

19. Keymaps ................ : (none)
21. Font Size .............. : 12
22. Background Color ....... : black

So can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Many thanks!
