[hercules-390] Running Hercules on Ubuntu

I read some posts mentioning that Hercules can run on Ubuntu Linux distribution.
Can someone say what versions of Ubuntu and what version of Hercules ?

Any recent version of Hercules runs fine on any Linux.

The install on Ubuntu 17.04 stops with this message:

Processing triggers for menu (2.1.47ubuntu1) ...



Do I need to install other packages before installing Hercules ?

That's usually the last step in the installation process, for most
packages. Your installation is probably fine.
