Anyone knows if an IBM iSeries(AS/400) hardware emulator (like Hercules
for 390 /Z hardware)
for Windows or Linux environments exists ?

Well, the iSeries HARDWARE is probably more-or-less emulated by PearPC.
Since it's basically just a PowerPC box.

Unfortunately, it's the microcode that isn't as that's very, very
proprietary.

I think there *is* a commercial emulator, but I don't really remember.
I'm pretty sure there's nothing free.

I am not an expert in iSeries/AS400 as I am for 390 / Z systems and asked
my question for a friend of mine.
