Gregg,
One of my PI's (a Pi 3 so fast for a PI) runs Hercules quite happily. I just did a:-
sudo apt-get install hercules x3270
(actually installed x3270 separately).
Then downloaded and installed the latest 6-pck betaâŠ
I got 6200 KWhetstones using Fortran G on VM/370 which seems pretty quick to me.
My P390 gives 2700 under the same conditions. Given the shortcomings of Fortran G
I guess it really runs about 10 mips, so over twice as fast as a 4381 model 3.
Wish I had kept the benchmarks I ran on "ours" (NERCs) 4381...

here is a pic of the Pi and the P390 togetherâŠ

Subject: [hercules-390] rasberry-pi as a z114
Hello!
Martin Truebner would you do us a favor and share how you managed to
convince a regular Raspberry Pi that it was a Z114 system? (And which OS it
runs via Hercules of course.)
I saw that mentioned on a thread concerning Hercules Console commands
via command line, and figured I'd open a new thread to ask this one.
I have a batch of them some doing nothing here, and am interested in
confusing one of them to do that. As for boxing it in Lego that's a bigger
stretch.

Obviously one of you will be reading this with an audience, and one from
underwater, and still another with a statue or two watching him.
And any two will have other issues unrelated to those.
