The CMake build scripts for Hercules-390 (https://github.com/hercules-390) have been updated to include the following:
Support for building on macOS. Hercules-390 can be built using the Xcode IDE or the much smaller Xcode command line tools. The Xcode, GNU Make, and Ninja build tools can be used. Support for building on Windows. Hercules-390 can be built using the Visual Studio 2008 IDE or newer, or the Visual Studio Build Tools 2017. You can use the build tool included with Visual Studio (devenv, nmake, or msbuild), or using JOM or Ninja.
The Hercules-390 web site at http://hercules-390.github.io/html/ http://hercules-390.github.io/html/ has been updated to reflect these changes.
Should you experience difficulties using CMake to build Hercules-390, please a) create an issues on github and b) feel free to use the old build process for Windows or UNIX-like systems. The Hercules-390 web site includes documentation of the old build process and lists the information that will be helpful when creating a github issue.
