Although I can understand the sentiment, 'leaving' now might not cover all the steps you might need to take. The Yahoo hacks were in 2013 and 2014, so the damage is done. One of these steps is determining if you have used the same password and/or 'security question' on Yahoo as well as any other websites (bad security practice, but lots of people do it) and change those.
